All true but they still operate in the "gray" zone. If you have seen any cable tv in the last decade all of the news shows start with some very quick text or spoken word "for entertainment purposes only" then they act like they are the news. People are dumb and fall into the trap. 1st amendment allows for lies or even for speaking without knowing if something is true or not. There are limitations but lying is not one of them unless it is related to very specific context.
