These are the sort of people that this South Park episode was about. They think they're so fucking smart and above everyone else, that they literally believe the smell of their own farts is some kind of delicacy to be cherished.

Of course, try explaining to these "highly educated" galaxy-brains that "Some red-neck in 'flyover' country is the sole reason that you were able to drink your soy latte with extra cream this morning", and they will find some way to deny it. This is the modern "bourgeois" class, which, hilariously, is filled with people who claim to want communist policy, which would mean they'd probably be among the first to die or have all of their shit taken from them.
