Musk wants to do the right thing but his power level is much lower than poals. He still believes some lies because they are quite subtle and pernicious.

A far better test is to see to what degree changes are made if Musk gets control over Twatter. That will show not only how deep the corruption goes, but also gauge how serious Musk is in changes things. I'm not hopeful.
