To my knowledge Poal only bans stuff it has to ban in order to stay online (like explicit calls for violence) and maybe some spam. But even if Poal were to actively ban stuff it doesn't like, it would still be different from Twitter for the reason that there are no mega corps with verified Poal accounts.
