I pay more money for lumber, paint, tools, and other supplies than I could because I shop at a locally owned hardware store with two locations. I can't remember the last time I was in a Lowe's or Home Depot.

EDIT: I just remembered. I was trying to find parts for the project I was working on to carbonate the Soda Steam bottles a few months ago. I left without buying anything.

Don't drink soda stream. That shit is expensive and unhealthy.

As one brother to another let me introduce you to the world of kombucha Cheap and healthy and very tasty

...kombucha

I've had it and don't really like the taste. I only drink carbonated water when I'm in the mood for something other than tap water. And yes, the Soda Stream bottles are expensive which is why I was working on a system to recharge the bottles myself.

The taste is anything you want it to be.

carbonated water is good for the stomach. For flavor just use some fruit juice that has been simmered down to concentrate.

Kombucha rocks because the SCOBY removes the sugar.

Sugar is a toxin

You making refillable cartridges?

I was going to make a system to refill the ones you buy (rent?) from the store but never got around to it. I can't find a local source for CO2.

local brewers or other CO2 related services

but that's the way to go
