There's some truth to this. A lot of wealthy cushy comfortable white people sit around playing video games all day instead of learning new languages or skills becsuse they're never faced with challenges. We see a kid that speaks 2 languages and are impressed because we know we're too lazy to learn a second language ourselves.

Fuck, I forgot that existed. That's it: I will start learning three languages, in this exact order: hebrew, Chinese (Mandarin*, whatever), and Latin. Something tells me I'll be able to learn a lot more about the world, and stuff hidden from normal people, simply by picking those three up. Besides, I always wanted to read a Latin Bible.
