I've been super polite and I've gotten so far (when writing this post at 4:26 PM EDT) almost no responses. The ones I've gotten have been unpleasant. I'm not trolling either. I actually want to know how they get their argument and I'd like to better understand it. I even asked for source material and the ones that commented, didn't even bother to provide it.

Update 1: Someone was nice enough to send me a document from Justice Ginsberg on how women have been repressed through-out history. I think it would make for an interesting read.

Update 2: Some have been nice and have linked me some reading material to learn more about how they find women have been oppressed. Others have not been so pleasant and have severely downvoted me.

It's because they don't have arguments. To them it's like asking for the mathematical theorem to prove 1+1=2. They think "I'm sure it exists, but it's so obvious that no one needs to know it."

That could be it.

I think it's because their own points are common knowledge to them and they accept it all as stonecold fact, not will to defend anything and or challenge anything or let it be challenged.

I think it's also worth considering that they are constantly told only people who have professional knowledge about a subject have a valid point (e.g. yout don't have a PhD in underwater basic weaving so why would I beleive you when you say I'll get wet if I try it).

Anyone who doesn't check every single oppression box in their statements correctly gets eaten alive as part of the purity cycle.

So where is the incentive to try and explain something to you?

You’re asking us to take the time to educate you while you’re perfectly capable of using Google. Big nope.

I hate this "read a book/educate yourself mentality." I listen to some leftists and could recommend a few if you like. I haven't watched all their content and don't know if they speak directly on feminism, but I think they're worth a listen in their own right.

Oppression takes on totally new meanings when you live in the society/culture that has given women more freedom than any other throughout human history.
