Currently Reddit is exhibit A for anybody who believes in the dead internet theory. The best way I can think to describe the phenomena is some sort of AI mutiny, quietly replacing fresh content, killing the core ideas behind the site altogether. Similar to the way fungus can take over an insects neurological system, slowly hijacking the entire organism for it's own purpose.

It's obvious, this guy must be slow.
