Atheism was created to bring down Christianity.
Newborn babies have no knowledge of mythical beings in the sky, therefore they are born atheist. You have to indoctrinate them with sunday school and the like for years to beat them into being kinda sorta Xians.

Oh, I was taught christianity, all right. Trouble was, it didn't jibe with anything in my life. There was a bright side (from a kids point of view, though). Dad didn't much mind taking me to Sunday school because it gave him an excuse to go to his buddies house for a snootful, and I'd wind up driving home sitting on pillows. Heady stuff for an 8 year old. This was heavily rural plains, so maybe a 50/50 chance of meeting anyone, and seeing a cop was so rare that everyone would run to the window to see if someone mentioned a cop was passing by.
Before dueish created atheism 100% of our ancestors were Christian.

What happened to stop it gelling with you was deliberate and dud not happen to any other religion.
I'm not trying to convince anyone to be Christian but rather pointing out that Christianity was targeted
