Whats the alternative? wouldnt it be better to fail trying to do something even with a fake leader then being coerced into submission by fear of being alone? the jan6 protests are a great example, sure the protest was a honeypot but WHAT THE FUCK DID ANY GOD DAMN AMERICAN DO ABOUT IT? nothing. It didnt matter if it was a trap the right should have simply pushed through it, but they didnt.

I guess though that the right were already following a fake leader in trump, they were waiting for trump to move and he did nothing.

Yes, though in a way Trump at least showed us that at least half the country is, at least nominally, on our side, if not more. He also lead many groups, however wrong or right, into gathering and communicating with each other.

I suppose that if shit gets real, fake leaders, when found out, can be ousted and replaced with a real one.

That is very true and easily overlooked. Trump wasnt a perfect leader, he bowed far too much to israel but i think he represented all the boomer tier conservatives that promoted israel first policies since he did what they thought was good for israel like making peace with israels neighbors which israel didnt want. the point is though that trump didnt need to win the battle, he DID reveal we are the majority in a world where our kind felt more and more isolated. We gained so much more following trump than we would have otherwise just bitching and moaning about how imperfect he is.

We really need to stop the purity spiral shit and actually just follow through with our ideals.
