Just to clarify to people that don't know, six pointed start on crests in European heraldry were pretty common and had nothing to do with jews. Often they represented star shaped forts that became popular in Europe during the Ottoman invasion, in other cases they represent some specific achievement or honor that was awarded to the crest holder.
