Comparatively to the other rags in the area, it was middle of the road. I used to read numerous papers in high school because I was in journalism. The only true "middle, neutral" paper was the San Gabriel Tribune. Times was middle, to middle right (for the area). We used to compare it a lot to the NY Times which, at that time, was VERY red.
The press telegram was the middle of the road, the oc register was on the right. If you think the times was center right, well, I don't know what to say about that. I must be way more right wing than you are.
We're talking 80s/90s, not now.
So am I. I don't know what the fuck they do now, I've moved away to a small little town where I can pretend it's 1950 and the only nigger is a polite one who tries to be as white as possible, and the 3 gays in town all flew Trump banners.
It was funny a few years ago when the pantifags protested on the nearby Indian reservation. Let's just say their message was not as well received as they would have liked.
