It's only temporary because our body is dying. We begin the process of death the moment we are conceived. While I'm here in this body I at least like to have my freedom.
As a child I grew up being moved from house to shabby house and even living in a tent at five years old and having a daily walk to seek out garbage cans for food. It sucked, believe me. After my grandparents were given custody of me the first thing I noticed was a 50 pound bag of dogfood on Grandma's porch and I was happy. It took her two years to convince me that I shouldn't be eating that stuff and that the food she provided was just fine.
