Was that Gary Goodrich he was pounding? I remember renting mma VHS tapes and looking forward to the Jappanese Pride matches- now that was great stuff. Often brutal but some brilliant fighting.

I hated Gary Goodrich! Sakuraba and Ensign Inoue were two of my favorites. Sakuraba because he was a f*ng genius and Ensign because he could take a pounding. Good times.
Goodridge had the merit of being there, and anyone capable to hand him his own ass was definitely above the rest, 'trial by fire'
