That's a ridiculously disingenuous source for that kind of statistics
It’s an official government website.
Are you looking at the data on a yearly level? That’s far to broad. My data is broken down by week where you can see more detail.
It literally shows during the peak of covid in the UK, the overall death rate of the whole country doubled vs the average and range for the last 5 years. You can also visibly see when the lockdowns happened, as the curve trends back down again to normal-ish levels.

"I use statistics blatantly manipulated to support my made-up point."
You're comparing average death rate from five years ago to deaths during an extreme fear-mongering year, where people are getting conditioned to isolate themselves. Obviously it's gonna be marginally higher than previous averages.
That’s far to broad.
Yea it's too broad to support your fantasies, no doubt.
“Marginally”
Doubling the overall death rate of the whole country during it’s peak isn’t marginal.
Considering most of those deaths are 80+ yr olds and/or with ~4 co-morbidities... You're either deliberately disingenuous or plain dumb, either way I'm done spoon-feeding you basic common sense.
