Why are you so concerned? This was breaking news, and as with most breaking news articles on stabbings/murders/shootings, potentially sketchy facts at the time. The CFP title contained the link to the x post with the video of the light skinned perp. The MSM breaking news article provided a <surprisingly> neutral context describing the attack. The perp's name and ethnicity were not published at that time. The link you posted this morning revealing perp's name was published hours later. I looked for a more detailed article before I posted yesterday, the msn article was as descriptive as any available, so I posted it. Note that CFP's title did not say "**W**hite" inferring a White Christian, it said "**w**hite" meaning a very light skinned person. At least that has been my interpretation of what the capitalization means here. Being American, anyone who has light skin like this perp gets classified as white on the national census. Americans don't get as concerned about someones genetic "white" ethnicity as was the case 100 years ago (unless they are jewish) because we are Americans - a melting pot of mostly European descent. Irish, English, Scottish, Swedish, Norwegian, Russian, Italian, French, German, Austrian .... all considered white here. Even someone of Romanian descent is considered white here.
