A pro Iran hacktivist group is claiming responsibility (archive.ph) and making demands (direct link (theregister.com)).
This one is annoying me today. I got a botched kernel update that prevented one of my systems from booting until I tried booting with an older kernel. There is a new kernel update available. It probably fixes this, but I can’t download and install it until this attack is under control.
In the meantime I’m not rebooting anything.
