Zentyal is the same. But the function is good if you don’t need deep shit.

Income never get a card/cal dav setup to work. Bakail and others i tried and gave up. Wanted it local then just sync when at home.

I never bothered with any of the calendar shit, I actually dislike shared and online calendars with a passion.

They touched me inappropriately one night and I won't use them anymore.

So where do you store and backup contacts? And calendar shit so you don’t forget your hamfest next month?

Contacts, I don't have enough to bother with. Whatever application the current device I have uses because I don't care.

I don't use calendars. I hate them. Had a crackberry once that someone shared my birthday on a calendar I didn't know was there. I had the device in my bedroom THAT ONE TIME and the thing woke up out of deep sleep (you could send them to sleep overnight) and made such a fucking racket that I could not get back to sleep, Immediately deleted everything I could, and if possible remove the module from the firmware load so there are no calendars. Fuck calendars and fuck people who add shit to them without your knowledge.
