The only problem with FreeTube is it is just a front-end for YouTube. When YouTube breaks something (like they did a few days ago,) FreeTube no longer pulls subscription lists, videos, etc. - depending on what broke.

It's a great system, but it's the "You're using someone else's platform" model. If the platform breaks, you're out of luck.

NewPipe works well on Android. Got mine on F-Droid.

So it's Invidious with a more styled UI.

If you don't sign into a YouTube account, and you use a VPN, I think you achieve pretty much the same privacy without this app. Correct me if I'm wrong.
