I think so, something that changes behind my desktop icons.

Open Preferences >> Backgrounds >> Images

Add your images here and then enable Settings >> Play backgrounds as a slideshow

Adjust settings to your liking.

I loved os2 1.3 where I could have an active world globe here the globe would turn where I was showing either the sunlit landscape or night with the city lights from space. I miss that.
