I was using the Sparc to create semiconductor test solutions, I think the largest test application was just over 3Gb for the starting in early 1998. I worked on a lot of SiTel DECT phone chip test solutions on that Sparc too, those test solutions were much smaller and simpler, but there were hundreds of flavors.
