It seems like every guide just tell you to install the software from a repository. But what I want to know if I torrented a cracked Linux version of a game, how would I go about installing it? Is there any fake repository that I can add the game to? Or some installation manager that has a GUI (like Tinfoil for Switch). Thanks.

It'll be a zip or tar file with a standalone game directory in it. You extract it to a location and run the main executable.

Depends on what system you're using. In *ian, you just dpkg -i package.deb to install it. You may need to manually install dependencies.

I'm thinking about trying this on SteamOS. I don't know if it's the same.
