I used an old pair of Cisco Outdoor 2.4 Antennas and soldered the coax to the router board after cutting off the TNC. Garage demand is low. Couple of cameras feeding upstream, and AP and occasional streaming for video and audio. Still meets my needs, hasn't died and only cost me a few hours 10 years ago, so why replace. If you are looking for a bridge, TPLINK outdoor CPE510's are about $35 each on Ebay.
