Caucasus is a region in the south of Russia in Eurasia, lying between the Black Sea (west) and the Caspian Sea (east). I didn't really have any point other than that trying to limit scope of identity to recent location and recent history is just far too limiting in the grand scale.

The sad part is that so much history has been lost, and we need to focus on make sure we still have the people to have a future first.
