It is simply an invitation for the state to be able to interfere in your life. Do not legally enter that contract or ask for a license (like you need the State's permission).
Marriage is personal - keep it that way - religious/familial ceremonies only - if you have assets you need to protect there is no better way to do that than by not entering the marriage in the first place - some states have common law marriage (so, be careful of that) consult an attorney . Create a contract if one must be made, (each situation may call for something different) but do not use the word marriage anywhere.
The State will interfere in your life regarding children no matter what - child support, DCS, CPS etc. - So, if you have children - take care of them (obviously, we're not niggers).
The point is, do not enter the system. Do not give the state any authority over your life. Operate independently and have your own arrangement.

The state has cheapened marriage. They made it easy and divorce rates are between 60-70% in many states. Disagreeable strangers decide your family's fate as well as your finances and property. Never allow it.
