This is the angle we need to play over and over again until this (((nonsense))) stops. If we counter every demand for why we can assert something to be true or fact with "I identify as a [fill in the blank] expert", they will have to say that you cannot just simply identify as a that because it's not true. We can turn this around and make them look stupid, um, stupider, in the process.
