Well, if I came in as say an atheist wouldn't I be angry if you pointed out how wrong I am about the nature of the universe? How could I not get angry? I think anger is usually a prelude to acceptance. Questioning peoples core beliefs is probably going to piss someone off at some point. Isn't that the goal of your church to get people to question and eventually accept the truth of god? This type of thing seems counter productive to the cause to me. Keeping in mind I'm a Christian myself and I have had many good conversations with Mormons over the years I used to have 2 that showed up to my house every week to discuss the bible it went on for years. I really enjoyed it.

There are ways of politely explaining why you disagree. That's what I'm trying to promote.

There are polite ways I won’t disagree with that, however isn’t our job as Christians to live as an example to others? Christ didn’t censor anyone from saying anything he just proved them wrong. Granted I believe we follow slightly different versions of the Bible but at least in the one I read I can’t think of an example of that, Christ always allowed people to speak their mind and then refuted it with facts.

That is exactly what I'm trying to encourage.
