This years garlic crop is doing very well so far. The El Nino should prove to be a boon for the garlic and my other veges this year, much better than last year when I lost probably half of the crop due to rot because it was so cold and wet. With any luck, I should be harvesting it maybe a bit before Christmas.

The scent alone must drive vampires away from 3 miles. Good job. I always say, if I don't kill a vampire away from 10 yards, I'm not eating enough garlic.

It's the nose, you see. The fact that it's so large to smell the scent of metal (Coins and blood) in the most minute amounts causes them to shriek as their nose explodes with the heavenly scent of garlic invading their olfactory sense. They cannot handle the divinely bestowed scent of garlic, so they shrivel and die.
