So Kirk and the gang were roaming around in the starship Enterprise when they encounter intellegent life forms. They start swapping info about their cultures and technology, but inevitably the conversation veers toward sex. Kirk says incredulously "You guys *bud off* like yeast cells to reproduce? Could you demonstrate that for us?" "But of course, Captain!" says the leader. Grabbing one of his minions, they touch the tips of their antennae together, and presently a lump appears on the side of the minion. Growing larger by the second, it assumes the shape of a tiny adult, then drops off entirely and starts running around the room. "And now, Captain Kirk, would you be good enough to show us how *you* reproduce?" "With pleasure!" replies Kirk. Stripping off Uhura's uniform, they go at it. After Kirk finishes, he gets up and tells the alien "That's how *we* reproduce!" The alien leader looks about in a confused fashion and asks "But where's the baby?" Kirk chuckles, and says "With any luck, the baby will be along in about nine months or so." The alien shouts "*Nine months!* If it takes nine months, why were you in such a hurry at the end?"
