Boris Spiegel (Шпигель, b. 1953, Ukraine) is a Russian-jewish businessman/politician. Founded Biotek pharma (major COVID supplier). Ex-senator (Penza, 2003-13). Chairs World Congress of Russian jewry; founded "World Without Nazism" (2010) pushing Russian WWII narrative.
He proposed 2010s bills expanding Article 282 (incitement to hatred, enacted 2002/amended since) to cover "falsifying history"/Nazi rehab—used vs extremists/nationalists, incl. antisemites. Not original drafter.
