lol I actually know what this is and why it's like this, and it's not the jews. This is an anime called "Ghost Stories." It's was created at a time in Japan when Young Adult Horror was all the rage. Shows like this were coming out all the time and the studio who created it wanted a piece of the action. However, by the time they finished the show the market had crashed. Nobody was into Y.A. Horror anymore, so when it released it bombed. Now it wasn't the most expensive show to make, but they were still going to lose money on it. So, to at least try to break even they looked to the American market and gave it to a dub studio hoping that they could do something with it. The only stipulation the Japanese gave them was that the episodes had to remain relevant to the plot and story written into them. Other than that they were given express permission to do whatever they thought they could do to make it sell. So they decided to have some fun and make the show as ridiculous as possible and it worked. They made enough to get their money back anyway. The part you posted here is fairly mild compared to how absurd it gets. The show in its original format is a total snooze fest, but it was a cynical cash grab from the start, so you can't really expect anything less.
