Is there even a war? Some are saying they're just fixed, others that it's just a stage with old images with the hand / picture edited and not actual video. I don't know but if it were fixed t he bricks would be at least slightly different color and if it were faked then people / trees and light screens (gas station at start) wouldn't move.

It'd make more sense if they were backwards. Meaning they have the normal pic first and damage second and then they play it in reverse.
Theory here is that it is faked using something akin to streetview and a greenscreen. Notice that perspectives are not changing on anything in the background and that the person in the distance @ 00:37 is not moving.

Rewatched it a couple more times now, and you're right. There's actually quite a bit of movement in different shots. Saw it on /pol/ yesterday and initially brushed it off as fake due to that perceived lack of movement :37.
That's damning. No way they fixed those. Probably just 3-D scanned the buildings and got video game designers to destroy them for the screencaps
