Babylonians worshipped moloch in Spain for millenia. Their symbol is the bull. Milllions of native Iberians were enslaved and sacrificed. When Rome conquered them, their only demand was to maintain suppression of moloch cults. It was made so with the tradition of bullfighting, a cultural reminder of the struggle of the Iberian people represented by the bullfighter vs the demon represented by the bull.

Romans maintained the sport and tried their best to suppress the cults. Some Roman nobles corrupted, others didnt. Enter Visigoth Spain. Nobility was fond of moloch cults and had cozy relationships with them thanks to the Arian heresy priests being coopted by jews. When Saint Hermenegild sacrificed himself to get rid of them through his younger brother, king Reccared, Visigoth Spain converted to Catholicism and had many revolts financed by jews in the Merovingian court and local nobilities.

Revolts pass, Goths relax. Jews finance small revolts and infiltrate Visigoth crown again, and convince the last Visigoth king to disarm the populace to avoid widespread revolt. While he did it, jews get the muslims to invade the next decade. Many cities fall because Ummayyad jews converse with Visigoth-living jews and sabotage city walls.

Catholic nobility and kings fall back and create the kingdom of Aragon. Muslim-backed Spain tries to suppress bullfighting due to bribery of jews for centuries but cant.

Jump a few centuries later after the Reconquista. Jews crucify the Boy of La Guardia in 1492 in yet another case of blood libel during Easter. Spaniards revolt. Jews get expelled. Spanish Empire starts its golden age in the same year.
