Same here. When I asked my dad he told me it was because people were jealous of them. I said why would anyone be jealous of them? He said because they were God's chosen people. I had to stifle a laugh because I wasn't Christian then, and if they were chosen they sure got the worst treatment for being "favored." Later (after I discovered the many, many reasons) I got to hear about how I would go to hell for criticizing them. It didn't stop me. I still send him lots of info on how bad they are and how they're the synagogue of Satan, how they manipulated history and the Bible. He's coming around for a man closer to 70 than 60. Best of all he still talks to me, so there's a chance he'll wake up before he dies.
