Containment tanks are filling up with water and leaching into the ground. Gov't gives 40 year estimate for decommissioning. Overall it's sad because Japan really tried to make their reactors safe. Nuclear power is overall a good option but the mistakes are costly. Waste estimates for Fukushima are 10x worse than Three Mile Island. Let's hope fusion gets off the ground soon
