I've hated islamists since they blew up the US Marine barracks in Lebanon in 1983. I didn't realize it was the jews behind it all at the time, but it was my first exposure to them on a large scale. Before that the terrorists I knew about were all like the Baader–Meinhof Group, the Japanese Red Army, and the Red Brigades. The PFLP didn't get as much airplay - at least not that I remember.
