It is the truth. But as a person who is not Caucasian, no matter how American I sound, there will be people who do not see me as American. And I do not owe anyone any loyalty. Not even people of my own nationality. I will only ever side with people who best serve my personal interests. And I do not give a damn how you or anyone else feels about that. Also, just because you are free to be racist here, does not mean you are immune to looking like an asshole.
