The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle, hitting the officer, according to the Stafford Township Police Department. The officer fired his gun at the car as it sped off, reportedly striking it, police said. He sustained unspecified injuries. The suspect escaped the scene, and it is unknown if that person was injured.
