When I was in the Marines, back in the 70s, I met a few foreigners in the ranks. Serving in the military was a way to gain citizenship. You know, the French army has an entire legion made up of foreigners...
As far as I know this is still the case. But I am sure you have to fill out some paperwork, then they rubber stamps it due to military service.
I was always under the impression if you give 4 years to the military you get citizenship.
Mind you it’s easy when we aren’t in like wars for 4 years.
As for this murderous cunt, fuck him.
Interesting.. it seems appropriate that a nation would grant citizenship to someone who served in a time when extra manpower is needed.
I don't believe the US has needed extra manpower since maybe the late 1700s.
I chatebt’d it: Here are some of the main eligibility conditions: • You must have served honorably in an accepted branch of the U.S. armed forces.
• For peacetime service, one of the requirements is that you be a lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder) and meet other usual naturalization criteria (good moral character, English/civics knowledge, etc.).
• For service during a designated period of hostilities (which the U.S. has been in since 2001), the rules are more flexible, e.g., the residency requirement may be waived.
Important Caveats & Limitations
While the pathway exists, it is not automatic, and there are important limitations: • Simply serving in the military does not guarantee U.S. citizenship; you still must apply and meet the criteria.
• Some foreign nationals who enlist may still face immigration or security-clearance hurdles.
Recent Statistics • In Fiscal Year (FY) 2024, USCIS naturalized more than 16,290 service members under the military naturalization program — a ~34 % increase from the previous year.
• Over the last 20 years, more than 148,000 immigrants serving in the U.S. military earned citizenship via this pathway.
• For the military-service naturalization pathway, a law-firm analysis reports that the national average processing time is approximately 4 to 6 months for military applicants
So in summary fuck this shitskin murderous fuck. He could have but he’s a lazy nigger skin fuck. He is not of good moral character by any stretch of the imagination. And fuck Denver news for portraying g this in any way other than ice deports convicted attempted murder (who served in the military, and was to fucking lazy to fill out paperwork but wanted free gibs)
