Why is firmware in quotes in the article? Also who updates firmware? That process is generally more of a hassle/risk than its worth.

About this sub

This is for all that connected crap you see that makes you go why? Bluetooth connected egg trays, dishwashers with internet connectivity, every device that could happily run locally but requires a back-end server to even turn on. All of that goes here so we can make fun of it.
