Everyone is always excited about fiber to the home until those install costs start piling up. Is Comcast the only company still doing widespread residential fiber installs? Google fiber scaled back, Verizon basically stopped completely. I don't know of any other major providers. Edit: I forgot Windstream but they can barely keep their network functioning as is. Fuck Windstream.
