The old school Xeon processors work nearly as well as the modern gen CPUs, often for pennies on the dollar. Also no shortage of them. if you inisist on intel, that's a great solution. Your still better off with Ryzen though

I use Ryzen G's on my new builds for customers. Gamers tend to build their own machines. I haven't seen any real world performance difference between Ryzen 3 2200G ($85) and Ryzen 5 3400G ($150). G-Skill 16-GB DDR4-3000 CL 15 is what we use fpr RAM ($80).

You dont see a lot of diff in the 2 and 3 series. 1 and 2/3 yes. But even there, it's still faster than 7th or 8th gen Intel. Of course, an overclocked X58 series Xeon performs almost the same as a 7th or 8th gen Intel also, so that says more about the crap Intel is producing now more than anything
