These people are making massive $50k/yr and are actually pretty miserable. Long commutes and they can easily be replaced by pajeets.
Me? I am in the 5% of income and I get paid for commutes. Not gonna lie, i get fucking wore out and cooked in the sun but I love it. There is an extreme shortage in my field and I could be working for someone else tomorrow.
Don't be afraid to explore options. There are many very high paying technical trades that aren't even incredibly physically demanding.
You have been lied to that college and cushy office work is your only option. Welders in my area are making $3k a week as are diesel mechanics.
