I would go as far as to say it's impossible to loose the ego without going insane to a degree. A human interaction is based off ones self 70% for a normal person. If everyone was egoless, there would be so much emotion, things would take way longer too get done. Religion already slows life down. I'm not saying ego is the best. Just that it is a necessary evil.
