Winning, at least with words, is almost never achievable with argument. Mutual agreement, easily achievable with words, is best way to go. When you watch the debates, do you see them argue? Of course they fucking argue, they are arguing with each other. But have you ever seen a candidate win an argument? Like, give forth such massive amounts of logic that the other candidates concede that he is right? Fuck no, you have never seen that. Because the goal of the debate is never to win. The goal is to get the maximum amount of people to agree with you. It is totally gay, but it is absolute truth.
