Bullshit, winning arguments is never the goal.
Winning arguments just makes people sad/angry that they lost.
What you really want is to have people agree with you.
I see your point, but sometimes people are stuck in their ways. So I think by winning the argument that would lead to what the winner wants accomplished. Like a presidential election, both sides have their points they argue, and then the winner is chosen by the jews. Okay maybe that was a bad example, but hopefully you see what I'm trying to say.
Winning, at least with words, is almost never achievable with argument.
Mutual agreement, easily achievable with words, is best way to go.
When you watch the debates, do you see them argue? Of course they fucking argue, they are arguing with each other.
But have you ever seen a candidate win an argument?
Like, give forth such massive amounts of logic that the other candidates concede that he is right?
Fuck no, you have never seen that.
Because the goal of the debate is never to win. The goal is to get the maximum amount of people to agree with you.
It is totally gay, but it is absolute truth.
this is kinda pointless back and forth. yeah people argue to get a agreement, but somtimes you got to argue just to get shit done. I think this post can help achieve what you want and I.
I agree.the best win is to convince the other person that they should at least consider your points, their points and try to reach an agreement.
Otherwise, it’s just an argument.
