My family used to participate in a program when I was a kid It was a charity that the local city bus system would fund and facilitate where we would deliver a Christmas meal and gifts to local low income families I know you can see where this is going but don't worry, it gets better Well it only took one year for word to get around and the second year a whole bus was robbed by some piece of shit So they added a police officer to the bus staff and a sheriff escort car for every bus By year 3 word has definitely circulated and the deliveries are almost exclusively being made to "farming" families (read immigrant, mostly illegal) It was so fucking funny to roll up to a complex and witness like 5 dudes go sprinting off into the woods in a tee shirt in the middle of December
