I see a thread say it has new comments on it since I last viewed it. If it is a new, standalone comment, sorting/viewing by 'New' shows those new comments at the top. However, if the new comment is a reply on an existing comment that I've already read, that comment chain is not sorted to the top. Example: - 20 comments on a post - A reply is made on the oldest comment in the post - As it is now: - Sorting comments by 'New' does not display that oldest comment chain at the top despite that the reply on it is the newest in the post - As I request: - Sorting comments by 'New' would display that comment chain first as the reply on it is the newest comment in the post despite that the top-level comment was the oldest one on the post It is tedious for me to go through all of the comments on a post and expanding their 'Load More' until I find the one comment chain on the post that has had a new comment/reply made on it. I would appreciate sorting by 'New' to bring the comment chain with the newest reply on the post to be displayed at the top. Or more simplistically, have sorting by 'New' sort by the time of the last comment on a comment chain instead of by the time on the base comment.
