Wouldn't they be in violation of the 3rd part and, if this place is really a free speech platform, wouldn't they be in violation of the 2nd?

If they were given ownership of a sub, yes. If they created that sub themselves, no.

Free speech isn't part of the agreement of using this site? Isn't this supposed to be a bastion of free speech?

If you wish to report a bug, please do so on /s/Poaldev.

The official sub created to allow the Poal community to suggest ideas on how Poal can be improved while at the same time allowing people to comment and vote on suggested ideas.

This will make it easier for people to hear what the community has to say and to keep a record of what people wish for.
