I never implied you couldn't make up your own mind on the merit of my suggestion. I'm simply making my case for it here.
This sort of "if I say yes to one thing people will ask for other things" is a poor argument because:
1) people will ask what they're gonna ask anyway
2) you don't have to say yes to one request just because you said yes to another one.

Easy thing to say when you don't have to deal with the people who refuse to take a no as an answer (especially if we've previously said yes for a similar request).
Well sometimes you just have to be Chad about it and say no anyway.
